Do you accept Walk-Ins or is the Studio Appointment Only? +
Our Studio is Appointment Only. This allows us to make sure every client has our full attention and dedicated time while they are here with us. For emergencies, please email us to inquire about coming in on the same day.
Do you Pierce kids earlobes?+
Yes! Please find our page here for all of the information you need to know regarding a Piercing Appointment for kids earlobes. *Please note, a Birth Certificate is REQUIRED for any Minor Piercing and if you do not bring proper identification your deposit will be forfeited.
Can I bring anyone with me to the Appointment?+
We kindly ask that you only bring a maximum of one guest with you to your appointment.
Am I, or my guest, allowed to record during the Piercing Service? +
No. Video recording of any kind is not allowed during any Piercing Service. Thank you for your understanding.
Are there Piercings you will not do?+
We will not perform Horizontal Tongue Piercings, Surface Tongue Piercings, Finger Piercings, and any Piercings that do not have suitable anatomy. We do not perform these Piercings due to safety.
Can I bring in my own Jewelry?+
No. If you have bought the jewelry from us and we can verify it, then we may be able to use the jewelry again. Otherwise, there is no way for us to verify the quality of outside jewelry and ensure it is safe for the piercing and healing process.
How soon can I change my Jewelry?+
For certain Piercings, downsizing is an important part of the healing process. We will let you know if your Piercing should be checked on to see if a downsize is necessary, or if you are unsure we are always happy to help. If your Piercing does not need a downsize, it is best to wait until the Piercing is fully healed. The Piercing may seem healed but remember that the inside tissue is still healing. Healing is not linear and changing your jewelry too early can cause damage, irritation, and prolong the healing process.
How do I know when my Piercing is healed?+
Piercings heal from the outside in. You may think the Piercing is healed when the tissue on the outside has no more redness, swelling, or fluid discharge. Most Piercings take around 3-6 months to heal, but healing time varies greatly depending on other factors. It is always a good idea to come in for a Consult if you have any questions during your healing process and before you change jewelry for the first time.
I’m looking for specific jewelry or jewelry you don’t have in stock. Do you offer Custom Orders?+
We pride ourselves on carrying a wide selection of jewelry styles in-stock. However, we understand that sometimes we don’t have the perfect size for you or exactly what you are looking for. We work with only the best jewelry companies and are happy to order jewelry made specifically for you! Schedule an “Ear Design/Styling” appointment to start this process!
I have an MRI/CT/X-Ray/Surgery coming up. What do I do about my Piercings?+
While our Titanium Jewelry is Implant Grade with verifiable Mill Certifications, oftentimes Medical Professionals will still want you to remove your jewelry. We understand this can be frustrating, but Jewelry can sometimes impact the view your Doctor will get on imaging. We can order Glass Retainers which are often an acceptable alternative. Please consult the Medical Professional who will be handling your care so you know if Glass Retainers are an option. We highly recommend making an appointment for us to put your Jewelry back in for you since we have access to Tapers which can help ease Jewelry back in. Please note, fresh or newly healed Piercings have a much higher chance of closing in a short period of time but all Piercings are at risk to close without Jewelry in them.
Does this look infected to you?+
We cannot diagnose an infection. If you suspect an infection we advise you to seek out a Medical Professional such as your Primary Care doctor or Urgent Care.
How soon can I go swimming?+
Do not swim until your Piercing is fully healed. Swimming can not only introduce new bacteria into your Piercing but it can also irritate the healing tissue causing issues and prolonging healing. This includes lakes, rivers, pools, hot tubs, bathtubs, and the ocean.
Why don't you have a phone number?+
We’re a private, appointment-only studio, and our goal is to create a calm, focused environment for everyone who visits. That’s why we don’t keep a shop phone.
All communication is handled by email only — this allows us to:
- Give you our full attention: No interruptions while we’re with clients.
- Stay organized: Everything is in writing, so details about jewelry, scheduling, and follow-ups don’t get lost.
- Protect our environment: A phone ringing 20 times a day would not only disrupt appointments, it wouldn’t be great for our nervous systems either.
We know email might feel a little slower than calling, but it lets us respond with accuracy and care, and it keeps our studio a peaceful space for everyone.
